Hi! I’m Fifi. The nice neighbor-ladies who were feeding me noticed one day that I had put on a few lbs. Knowing it wouldn’t be safe for me to have baby kittehs outside on the mean streets of Venice, they snagged me and took me to a foster-lady who gave me a nice secluded room where I could safely have my babies, get us all spayed & neutered and (paws crossed) find forever homes! On Feb 21st I popped out 7 beautiful little kittens, 4 boys and 3 girls. They won’t open their eyes for ten days, and will nurse off me for 4-6 weeks before chowing down on their own. When they reach 3 lbs. they can get spayed or neutered and then will be adopted in pairs only to indoor only homes. While the ladies have been awfully generous to me, so far the vet bills are creeping up past $600. That’s a lot of pickled herring!!! If you would like to help with food, litter, de-wormies, toys and things we can knock onto the floor, feel free to donate any amout to email@example.com and foster mommy will make sure we are healthy and have full bellies until we find our forever homes! Vet bills… blech!
First Vet visit…. hey I’m cookin a few of those!
The doc said 5 kittens, *maybe* 6. Pffffff …. FiFi don’t play!
New foster mom sleeps on my bed with me, nice of her.
So I can’t see my knees… doesn’t mean I can’t mix it up with the rubber ball!
Limited scope of mobility is constricting my bath time.
I’m all up in foster-mom’s grill.
Feb 21st! First one out of the hatch!
Birthin babies ain’t pretty.
They just keep comin!
After about 5 hours all of the magnificent 7 were born!
After a cleanin and a fluffin the feeding frenzy began!
First born baby girl! She’s strong!
Didn’t think it would turn out like this when I had my butt stuck up in the air in the alley.
Me & bbz at the vet 2 days after they were born. All look happy & healthy & frisky!
